Phil Lesh and Friends perform to dedicated crowd at Broomfield’s 1st Bank Center

Phil Lesh

Former Grateful Dead member, Phil Lesh, brought some of his friends to Broomfield’s 1st Bank Center Thursday kicking off a three day set of Colorado shows. Joining Lesh on stage for these shows are John Schofield, Warren Haynes, Jackie Greene, Joe Russo and Jeff Chimenti.

The band hit the stage shortly after 8p.m. playing a series of audience favorites.  Check out this great setlist via DeadheadLand.  The band was really on fire with Jackie, Warren and Phil trading out on lyrics.   Some of the evening’s highlights were Warren’s vocal treatment on Standing on the Moon and a Jackie Greene performing vocals on the Who song Magic Bus.  The three guitarists, Haynes, Greene and Schofield’s jams seemed effortlessly blended with Lesh’s bass rhythms.  All of the musicians were smiling and having a great time jamming together and it showed in their music.

Tickets are still available for tonight’s performance.
